I made myself a pony. Pony is red, because that’s one of my favorite colors (favorite to wear) and also, Crimson Tide, nuff said. Obviously, I’m blonde. And my pony has a straight face that’s maybe a bit awkward or unsure or distant.

One of the things that scares me is knowing that no one will ever love me for me. I know I deserve it, but I know no one ever will. No one has accepted me with all my quirks and insecurities. They just get mad.
Now this just makes me sad and it’s completely not true. There’s a guy I know who feels the exact same way. Yes, accepting those quirks and insecurities are tough, but I strongly predict that you will find someone who will work hard to accept you and perhaps even love some of your quirks. Love isn’t easy. It’s difficult and stressful and something that takes a lot of work, but even the quirkiest of people can find love. I will tell you that insecurities are more difficult though. Quirks may be annoying, but you grow to love them. Insecurities are much more difficult than that, but we all have them. I would urge anyone with insecurities to work on them, but just because they exist doesn’t mean you’ll never have someone love you. Sorry for the rant. I’m not on the spectrum, but there are a lot of people I really care about who are- in fact, I love one of them- and when I hear them say things like this it breaks my heart, because I don’t know how to love them any better.

I’m starting a new project. It’s about friendship, love and forgiveness. I’m really excited about it and only one person will probably ever see it.

So what happens if you think you might like someone, but you don’t know if you should or if it’s the right time to like them? I mean, sometimes people just need more time to grow, but do you just sit around waiting and wondering when the right time to like them is?

What if we’re all wrong? Or everyone is right? Whichever you prefer. There is a difference, but it’s not big enough for it to matter to me right now. (Personally, I prefer that we’re all wrong. I think it keeps things in perspective.)
We have these universal truths and pieces of advice and people see them and think, “Wow, that’s really awesome and totally true,” but sometimes it isn’t. Sometimes they’re completely wrong. Of course it’s the situation. When you like someone very different than you, it’s all “opposites attract”, but then, fall in love with someone very similar and suddenly, “birds of a feather flock together” (which, by the way, does tend to be the truer one.) But half the time, this belief that you would not otherwise believe is completely wrong.
And take our views on marriage, for example. In the United States, the typical marriage is usually a man and a woman. But there are places where men have multiple wives or, on the contrary, where women have multiple husbands. Some cultures approve of and even encourage premarital sex. Some discourage any sexual activity whatsoever until after marriage.
Here’s some food for thought. Many people see veiled Muslim women as oppressed, but speak to a Muslim woman for a moment and you’ll hear quite the contrary. We see our clothing as freedom to express and reveal ourselves in whatever ways we please. Muslim women view their dress as a way to conceal their beauty so that they are respected for their mind and not their body.
I guess what I’m getting at, is there really are no rights or wrongs…well, killing someone just for the hell of it, is pretty universally bad, but besides that. I think we can all agree that we are, at least, sometimes, and almost always, wrong.
